What is Revisely?

Revisely began as an educational website for UK students preparing for their exams. Since then, it has transformed into a global platform that empowers both students and professionals. Our platform leverages AI technology to generate high-quality resources for self-study and teaching, catering to a worldwide audience seeking to enhance their learning and instructional capabilities.

Do you offer any packages for schools or companies?

We make it easy to sign up and subscribe in bulk. If your school or organization will require thirty users or more, please get in touch to find out more information and get a quote.

How do I change my email address or password?

To change your details, please follow these steps:

Go to Your Account
Fill out the details you would like to change
Click the "Change Email" or "Change Password" button

How do I unlink my Google account?

To unlink your Google account and set up a standalone email/password login, please follow these steps:

Go to Your Account
Under "Unlink Google Account," click Unlink
Confirm or update your Email Address
Enter and confirm your new Password
Click the Unlink button

If you only see options to change your email address and password (and no "Unlink Google Account" section), your account is already unlinked.

I've forgotten or lost my password

Visit forgot password and fill out your details. Please wait up to 30 minutes to receive the email and check your spam/junk folder. If this fails, please try a second time. If you're still having trouble please contact us.

Please contact us and provide as many of the following that you can:

Your username
A list of email addresses you may have used
If subscribed, the date, time and country you are from. Please check your bank account to get the exact time

Billing

How often will I be charged?

You can choose the billing cycle that suits you best before checkout. We offer both monthly and annual subscription options.

Are there any discounts or coupons available?

We do not usually provide any discounts or coupons as our subscriptions are already at the lowest price we can offer.

How do I know my payment is secure?

All payments are handled by our partner Stripe - the largest online payment provider in the world. During checkout, you will be redirected to their billing portal, where you can complete the payment with a debit/credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay or Onelink. Revisely does not have access to your card details and our staff will never ask for them.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept debit/credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay or Onelink.

What currencies are available?

You can use any currency to purchase a subscription. If your currency is not listed, it will be converted from US dollars at the best available rate. If you are in the Eurozone, you will be billed in Euros, and if you are in the United Kingdom, you will be billed in British Pounds. Customers in all other regions will be billed in US dollars.

How can I update my billing details?

To make changes to your billing details:

Go to Your Account and scroll down until you see your subscription
Click "Update Billing Details"
You will be redirected to our payment provider where you can make the changes you need

How can I see invoices for my payments?

To view invoices:

Go to Your Account and scroll down until you see your subscription
Click "View Invoices"
You will be redirected to our payment provider. At the bottom of this page, you will see your invoices
Click an invoice and you will be given the option to download it

Please allow up to 24 hours until after a payment has been made to see the relevant invoice.

How can I switch from a monthly to annual subscription?

To switch from monthly to annual, please follow these steps:

Go to Your Account and cancel your current subscription
Once canceled, the subscription options will show again on the main page for the generator you have canceled
Subscribe to the annual package

If you do this in less than one week of subscribing, let us know and we'll issue a full refund for your previous subscription. Please note this service is not available when switching from annual to monthly.

What is your refund policy?

If you have any questions or need help getting the most from your subscription, please reach out to us. We will be happy to help.

For AI Generators Subscription

Subscriptions are generally non-refundable. However, we may offer a refund at our discretion in specific circumstances, such as when a paid feature does not work as expected compared with the free version and we are unable to resolve the issue. Exceptions will be made where legally required.

For Revisely Pro (A-Level revision plan)

For customers in the United Kingdom, Revisely Pro includes a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you decide that the plan is not right for you, simply contact us within 14 days of your payment and we will be happy to arrange a refund.

On the contact form, select "I have a question about my subscription" and then "I would like a refund".

How can I cancel my subscription?

If there's anything you're unhappy about please reach out to us and we will be happy to help. If you would still like to cancel, please do the following:

Go to Your Account and scroll down until you see your subscription
Click "Cancel Subscription"
After confirming, your subscription will be canceled immediately and you will not be charged again

We occasionally receive inquiries from users who are unable to locate the cancellation option. In these instances, we have found that the subscription has previously been canceled or they are logged into the incorrect account.

My renewal payment failed. Can I try again?

If you have a failed payment, please go through the following steps to resolve the issue:

Resolve the reason for the failed payment. This is usually related to your bank account such as a lack of funds.
Go to Your Account and scroll down until you see your subscription
Click the "Retry Payment" button

If you do not see this option, the payment may have already gone through. Your number of retries is limited so please do not try again until you have resolved the issue. If the issue persists, please contact your bank or send us a message.

AI Generators

Which types of files are supported?

Supported file types include images (.png, .jpg and .jpeg), PDFs (.pdf), Word documents (.docx) and PowerPoints (.pptx). You can also paste or write text directly.

How is my generated content saved?

Flashcards and quizzes are saved automatically and can be accessed from your dashboard. Your notes and documents are also stored securely in your account.

Can I create content from a physical textbook or document?

Yes. Select the image-upload option in the generator and take or upload a clear photo of the material. On a computer, you can upload an existing image or use the displayed QR code to continue on your phone. On mobile or tablet, you can take or select a photo directly.

Do you support folders?

Instead of folders, Revisely uses tags to help you organise generated resources. Tags allow you to place the same item in more than one category. You can create, edit and assign tags from your dashboard.

To simplify your dashboard, you can enable "Hide tagged items". Tagged items will then appear when you select their tag.

How can I combine flashcard decks or quizzes?

You can combine two flashcard decks or two quizzes:

Go to your dashboard and find the deck or quiz you want to copy from.
Click the icon and select "Combine".
Select the deck or quiz you want to add its contents to.
Click "Combine".

To combine more items, repeat these steps using the combined deck or quiz.

How can I export flashcards to Anki or another flashcard app?

Open the deck from your dashboard.
Click "View" to open the flashcards.
Click the icon.
Select Anki, or choose a text-based format supported by the app you use.

How can I print my flashcards?

Open the deck, click the

icon, select your print options and click "Print".

How can I write my own fill-in-the-blank flashcards?

When editing a flashcard, use underscores for each blank on the front. Write the answers on the back and separate multiple answers with commas.

Front: The sky is ______ and the grass is ______

Back: blue, green

The number of underscores does not need to match the number of characters in the answer, and an answer can contain spaces.

How can I export a quiz to Moodle, Canvas or Blackboard?

Find the quiz on your dashboard without opening it.
Click the icon.
Select "Export" to see the available formats.

These export formats are available on the professional and business plans.

Do you support other languages?

You can create content from material in more than 50 languages. Generated content is normally produced in the language you provide, and the available generator options also include a selection of translation languages.

Can I use generated content for educational or commercial purposes?

Yes. Generated content can be used for educational or commercial purposes.

Is my generated content private and secure?

Your generated content is stored securely and is private by default. Flashcard decks, quizzes and notes are not publicly listed; you control who can access them by sharing their links.

Do you offer a free trial?

Instead of a free trial, we let you create flashcards, quizzes and notes for free for a limited number of generations. To begin, simply upload or paste your content into the generator you want to try.
