Revisely.com ("Website") is a revision website for students provided by Revisely ("Company"). By accessing and using the Website, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Use").
1. General Terms
1.1 The Website is intended for use by individuals who are preparing for academic examinations.
1.2 The Website contains various resources including, but not limited to, questions, videos, notes, and past papers ("Content"). The Content is sourced from third-party providers and may be subject to their respective terms of use.
1.3 The Company makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any of the Content provided on the Website. The Company also makes no representations or warranties that the Content will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from unauthorized access.
1.4 The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Website, or any portion thereof, with or without notice.
2. Account and Data Responsibility
2.1 As a registered user, you are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your password.
2.2 You must use your account manually and not through any automated means, including but not limited to, bots or scripts. Excessive or unreasonable use of the services, including but not limited to generating an unusually high number of flashcards, notes, quizzes, or AI chat requests in a manner that disrupts the normal operation of the platform, is strictly prohibited. To ensure fair usage, the Company may limit the creation and usage of flashcards, notes or quizzes to a maximum of 500 per month, and AI chat requests may be limited to 250 per day.
3. Subscriptions, Cancellation and Refunds
3.1 Subscription prices, billing periods and renewal dates are displayed before checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
3.2 Revisely offers separate subscriptions for Revisely Pro (A-Level and GCSE Revision) and its flashcard, quiz and notes generation tools. Each subscription is billed, managed and cancelled separately.
3.3 AI Generators Subscription
You may cancel your generator subscription from your account at any time. Cancellation takes effect immediately and may result in the loss of some subscriber features. You will not be charged again.
Generator subscriptions are generally non-refundable. However, we may provide a refund at our discretion in specific circumstances, including where a paid feature does not work as reasonably expected and we are unable to resolve the issue. Exceptions will be made where required by law.
By requesting immediate access at checkout, you expressly consent to the supply of digital content beginning immediately and acknowledge that, where permitted by law, you lose any applicable cancellation or withdrawal right once supply begins.
3.4 Revisely Pro (A-Level and GCSE Revision)
You may cancel Revisely Pro from your account at any time. Cancellation prevents future renewals, but access continues until the end of your current paid billing period.
For customers in the United Kingdom, Revisely Pro includes a 14-day money-back guarantee. Refund requests must be submitted through our contact form within 14 days of the relevant payment. When a refund is issued, access to subscriber features provided through Revisely Pro will end immediately.
4. Content Creation Responsibility and Prohibited Content and Activities
4.1 As a user of Revisely, you may create, upload, publish, submit or transmit content. You are solely responsible for all the content you post, as well as your interactions with other users.
4.2 Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to, content that is harmful, offensive, indecent, unlawful, infringing, or otherwise objectionable. Any engagement in such activities may result in termination of your account.
5. Content and License
5.1 The Content provided on the Website is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use the Content for personal, non-commercial use only, except for AI-generated content that you create using the Website. Such AI-generated content may be used for both personal and commercial purposes.
5.2 You may not distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, report, or use the Content for public or commercial purposes without the prior written consent of the Company. This restriction does not apply to AI-generated content that you personally create using the Website’s tools, which you may redistribute and use commercially. However, this permission does not extend to AI-generated content created by other users.
5.3 If you intend to redistribute or use commercially the AI-generated content created from the content you uploaded to Revisely, you must hold the appropriate rights to the original content. This ensures that the use and redistribution of the AI-generated output comply with intellectual property laws.
6. Responsibility of Service Users and Content Representations and Warranties
6.1 You are responsible for your use of the Service and for any Content you provide, including compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
6.2 You represent and warrant that you have all the rights, power, and authority necessary to grant the rights granted herein to any content submitted.
7. Third-Party Content and Websites
7.1 The Website may contain links to third-party websites or resources. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible or liable for the availability, accuracy, content, or services of such third-party websites or resources.
8. YouTube API
8.1 The Website makes use of the YouTube API to provide access to videos on the YouTube platform. By accessing and using the Website, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service available at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.
9. Changes to the Service and Terms
9.1 We reserve the right, at our discretion, to modify or replace any part of these Terms of Service at any time.
10. Governing Law and Venue
10.1 The governing law for these Terms shall be determined based on the user's location and the applicable jurisdiction where the Company conducts its operations.
11. Revisely Pro (A-Level and GCSE Revision)
11.1 Revisely Pro is a subscription plan that provides access to paid revision features and content. It is subject to these Terms of Use and the subscription terms explained at checkout.
11.2 Revisely Pro may be offered with monthly, annual or other billing periods. The available options, prices and renewal dates are displayed before checkout.
11.3 The Company may improve, modify or discontinue features or content provided through Revisely Pro. Any cancellation and refund rights are governed by Section 3 of these Terms.
12. AI Generators Subscription
12.1 The flashcard, quiz and notes generation tools allow users to create learning and written content from prompts or uploaded material. These tools are subject to the same Terms of Use as the rest of the Website.
12.2 The tools are provided as a subscription service and may be offered with monthly, annual or other billing periods. The available options, prices and renewal dates are displayed before checkout.
12.3 Generated content may not always be accurate, complete or reliable. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before relying on or distributing it, and the Company is not responsible for inaccuracies or omissions in generated content.
12.4 The Company may improve, modify or discontinue the tools or their features. Any cancellation and refund rights are governed by Section 3 of these Terms.
